S & A and their wedding in Villa la Vedetta

Sophie and Adam celebrated their wedding in Villa la Vedetta. They wanted an unpretentious wedding, something refined and chic. The most important thing for them was to be quite close to the city; they wanted their guests to have easy access to the celebrations.

That’s why we showed them Villa la Vedetta, a romantic Neo-Renaissance Villa surrounded by an Italian garden. One of the great things it offers is a breathtaking view of the city of Florence. This was the perfect match for Sophie and Adam, a wedding in Florence! They fell in love immediately!

The couple wanted their wedding in Florence, to last all they long. So the ceremony started at midday in the Italian garden. The bride was preceded by a band of trumpeters as she entered the ceremony. It was followed by the welcome drink on the terrace of Villa la Vedetta, were they had a lovely band playing.

The dinner was served on the terrace, inside the covered area. Sophie didn’t like the ceiling of the marquee and the chandeliers (usually are round white balls), so we hid it adding white fabric and crystal chandeliers. Due to the hot temperature during July in Italy, we decided also to add extra air conditioning in the room, so the guests could enjoy their meal without sweating.

The couple decided to do not have a wedding cake and after dinner everybody went directly on the terrace to keep the party going. They enjoyed dancing and partying until 2am. The next day we arranged a great pool party were they relax and had fun.

We had a blast during this wedding in Florence, everybody was really having fun and enjoying each other company. We wish Sophie and Adam’s joy and love will last forever.
