Jenni and Jamie, the perfect romance in San Pietro Sopra le Acque.
San Pietro Sopra le Acque is a wonderful historical building quietly immersed in the nature. A perfect location for a wedding in Umbria.
Its beauty made Jenni and Jamie decide to get married in there.
We took this beautiful couple for a venue survey in Italy two years in advanced. They still didn’t know if a wedding in Umbria was the right choice for them.
They decided to held the wedding there, when they saw San Pietro sopra le acque! not just for the beauty of the location itself, but also for the surroundings.
Located in the heart of Italy, between Rome and Florence, Umbria is one of Italy’s most renowned regions for natural beauty, historical heritage and artistic patrimony.
The groom got ready in the beautiful village of Todi. This picturesque town has important Etruscan remains and Roman ruins. Jamie is a really funny guy! While getting ready he was following together with his groomsman a video on how to tie and adjust a bow tie. We believe the results were quite impressing.
Jenni got ready in one of the rooms of San Pietro sopra le acque. She had an aperitivo together with her bridesmaids, while they were helping her dressing up.
The catholic mass was celebrated directly in the small and pretty church of San Pietro sopra le acque.
For their Umbria wedding Jenni and Jamie decided to have a very deep red as teamed colour.
We arranged the aperitif area in the marvellous park outside the venue. But unfortunately that day the weather forced us to set up the dinner and the party inside.
Obviously the indoor spaces were beautiful as well and our set up added the extra bit that the location need to be enchanted.
