Hindu wedding traditions in Italy

Nipa and Nilesh decided to have a destination Hindu wedding. They love Italy so the idea to celebrate their love in this country came to them naturally. To have at the same time a traditional Indian wedding ending and a stylish gala dinner they knock at Amoretti’s door. To fit all our couple demands, we suggested the Villa Ciardi in Puglia, Italy.

This luxurious villa has crossed time and now is more beautiful than ever! with its geometric architecture and its centuries-old park. The hundred years trees composing the park are one of the villa’s major assets and play a big part in its charm.

Respectful of nature, this preserved villa was the best place to celebrate a Hindu wedding.

Before the Hindu wedding ceremony to get started, the bride had to do what is called a Sangeet. It is a celebration for the bride-to-be, this tradition is opening the wedding party.

Thus, this Italian Hindu wedding was split into two parts: after the Hindu ceremony was finished in the morning.

Nipa, Nilesh and all their guests started to enjoy the so awaited buffet.

Then, as our couple requested it, in the evening all the guests were entertained by a gala dinner in the amazing villa’s courtyard.

It was an amazing experience for Amoretti weddings to organize this Hindu wedding.

We had to do our best to fit the so interested Hindu traditions.

The final result of this Italy based Indian wedding was stunning, full of colours, love and happiness.
