Australian Wedding In Italy

Amoretti had the honour to unfold a majestic Australian wedding in Italy. James and Alison were opting for a wedding location with a focus on authentic Italian cuisine and no time limits for festivities so we suggested the picturesque villa Zaira in Apulia. Their desire for a religious ceremony was beautifully realized in the magnifent Basilica di Santa Croce, one of the most exceptional look of baroque architecture in Italy. Prior to the wedding, a lovely welcome party took place on one of the streets in Lecce, featuring the beloved Italian aperitivo, setting the tone for the celebrations. From bruschetta, to olives, cured meats, cheeses, crostini and much more. Ofcourse accompanied with Spritz Aperol, Campari, Prosecco… The atmosphere was casual and inviting, allowing guests to mingle and engage in conversation while enjoying the delicious array of snacks before the ceremony.

The wedding day commenced with a religious ceremony at the Basilica, followed by a lush celebration at Villa Zaira, where an assortment of antipasti and an authenic italian dinner awaited the guests. The following day, the celebrations continued with a pool party, extending the revelry and offering a relaxed and enjoyable conclusion to the wedding weekend.

The fusion of religious tradition, authentic Italian settings, and culinary delights made James and Alison’s wedding a multifaceted celebration.
